LB aka LABAT returns with the second single on his newly inaugurated Poumpet Records this March, a robust piano driven workout entitled ‘NIMBUS 2000’.
Early February 2022 saw LB aka LABAT launch his new imprint Poumpet Records with its first single, ‘Feel The Beat’, accompanied by a remix from Australia’s Partiboi69. The label will be unveiling a single every month alongside sporadic remix additions from some of his favourite artists from across the globe.
Here though, flying solo we have LABAT’s latest single, ‘NIMBUS 2000’, laid out across six minutes with loopy organic drums, dusty rave-tinged piano stabs and rumbling subs while crisp hats, crunchy claps, bumpy kicks, sirens and a vacillating acid arpeggio line dynamically work their way into the composition resulting in a powerful peak time cut.
